INKspired Artists Blog Hop - Sketch 6

Mingle all the way!!

Hi again blog hoppers! Welcome back!
You would have just hopped from Barbara William's blog... I am sure it was another fabulous card!

We are up to Sketch 6!!

I was really excited to do my take on the sketch design this week and had an idea of what I was going to do (then of course I changed my mind at the last minute!!)

As I had the honour of using Lou Lou's craft room (Thank you Beautiful Gorgeous Auntie Lou)
I had all of her goodies to choose from! HEAVEN!!!

I LOVE the confetti stars punch and just HAD to use it!! This is a punch I keep meaning to add to my inventory :)
I punched out some whisper white CS and layered it over some gold glimmer CS,
Then embossed the
'Mingle all the way'
sentiment with white emboss powder.
I used the smallest star out of the Star framelits dies in gold glimmer CS and added it with a Teeny tiny sentiments
'Merry Christmas' banner!

I love how it turned out, it's a very simple and easy card to make :)

You are hopping to Lisa Eaton next :) I cannot wait to see what she has created!

Until next time!

Kabrina xx

INKspired Artist Blog Hop - Sketch 5 - 80th Bloom with Hope

Hi Blog Hoppers!
You have just hopped from Janelle's blog!!
I feel like it's been ages since I blogged...and it has!! Its nearly been a month YIKES!
Time had gotten away from me and I even missed the last INKspired Artist's Blog hop :(
Never-mind I am back and we have a new sketch Teneale has created this fortnight!

Number 5!

So my creation this hop is a birthday card for my Grandma!
Mathilda!
She reached a milestone today 80!!

My Grandma is a very special lady and she needed a special card... so the pressure was on!

So where to start?!?

Firstly I picked out the Bloom with Hope stamp set.
I have picked out this stamp set before and never ended up using it... I don't know why coz I really love it, maybe it was waiting for this creation?

When I was little I couldn't pronounce Yellow properly... I would say lellow instead lol.
Grandma always reminds me of this so a lellow was the main colour palette.
I cased a card on Pinterest by Ann Schach... on one of her cards she used a background that I loved and wanted to try out. I am not sure how she did it (could be an embossing folder??) but my attempt was to score the CS on a diagonal using the envelope punch board (there probably a easier way to do this) and then place the pearl embellishments on top :)

I love how they card turned out and I think my Grandma did to!

Happy Birthday Grandma
So happy you spent this special day with us!
I am sure we will share many more!
Love you!

Up next is Lissa! YAY it's is Lissa first INKspired Artist's Blog Hop so please make her feel welcome and leave a comment to welcome her to the hop!
