Just Add Ink #231 Colour Challenge

Hi! I'm back with another
Just Add Ink #231 challenge entry!

It was my Birthday last week and I got my Birthday present yesterday from my AWESOME husband... He knows exactly what I want!!! :)

Yep you saw them... Blendabilities!!!

So I started playing and this is the finished result!
I picked the Scooter from the SU Today & Everyday stamp set because its super cute!

Once I had the scooter completed I started to layer my background with the basket weave effect and I thought I was done but... I was happy with the result but it felt a little unfinished...

It was lacking the basic black from the JAI colour challenge palette so I added the extra black background which finished it off

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time!

My First Mojo Monday #361

My very first Mojo Monday Entry
Mojo361

A Happy Father's Day card
I found the Hip Hip Hooray card kit in my stash of goodies and used the card stock out of it for my Father's Day card theme
I wanted to play with the ribbon appearance and sliced the top card layer so I could feed the ribbon thru.
I used the Chalk Talk Framelits Die instead of a circle die (only because I realised I didn't have one! This will be added to my next order)
Thanks for checking out my entry!

Just Add Ink #230 - Dad - Undefined Kombi Card

I have been playing with the Undefined Stamp Carving Kit this week. My goal was to create a Kombi stamp for my husband just in time for
Father's day and by chance the next Just Add Ink challenge... BONUS!!
I was shown last night how to make a slide card by a wonderful lady Lyn Potts and what better way to surprise Dad on Father's Day then with his own
Kombi slide card!

I added some bling by embossing the lettering and kombi and got to know my new blendabilities pens to add some colour!

Undefined Stamp Carving Kit - My first Attempt!

Today I have been playing with the Undefined Stamp Carving Set
One stamp I have always wanted was a Kombi
(Being a VW crazy family)

It was a bit tricky to work out how to start...
I cased a kombi picture I liked on the net and drew it onto some paper.

It was a little small so I just enlarged the design to get the perfect size to fit the
Undefined carving stamp block

I layered some clear window sheeting over my design and traced the design onto it using the
Stamp write pen in the kit.

I then placed the window sheet over the stamp block and rubbed the design onto the block.

Next I worked out what I wanted to 'keep' and started carving!

The results speak for themselves!

I am quite proud of myself!!

This is where it starts to get messy

Carving away the unwanted areas took some time

The finished result

This is totally worth the time and effort it takes to make!
It's a one off stamp that was made for one reason only...
To be unique and special to you... and the person you made it for!

Waiting Waiting Waiting!!

So I nearly have all the elements for my Father's Day Card to enter into my next Challenge, but I have come to a halt until my next delivery of goodies arrive! Clearly under prepared!!
So here is a snippet for the Mojo Monday 361 Challenge.

I am using the cardstock out of the Hip Hip Hooray Card kit... This pack if full of great pieces to make 20 cards!!
