INKspired Artist Blog Hop - Sketch 2

Welcome!!

If you are following my blog and you have just arrived at another BLOG HOP :)
Welcome back!!

This is INKspired Artist Blog Hop #2!!

You may have been to our first blog hop 2 weeks ago... Which was a big hit and we are all so excited you all dropped in, commented on our creations and enjoyed the ride!

You may have hopped in from Janelle's blog, it amazes me what all the others have come up with! So many great ideas to take away to create you own!

This is Sketch 2...

And this is my creation :)

I couldn't resist trying out the Wondrous Wreath stamp set... I've been practising layering the the stamps which can be a bit tricky but once you get the hang of the positions it's such a fun set to use...

I love the finished result!

In my first attempt I grabbed what would be the bottom layer (the one with the most leaves) and started stamping from the bottom up :/
but found I kept on missing when I tried to layer the second layer which was the darker colour... So I started with the second layer first and then the bottom layer and it worked out much better!
So much easier to line up :)

I originally started with the traditional
greens and reds
for this Christmas themed card but got drawn to the Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon combo which I think is very elegant!
The berries and bow were embossed with Silver glitter to add a little sparkle!

I had so much fun with this Wondrous Wreath stamp set I kept going and created this fold card to complement the card set.

I love this card!
I popped out the wreath with some clear strips of window sheeting to make it appear to float off the card.

Next up is Lisa Eaton
Lisa has a gift of WOWING us every time she makes a card... She is very talented :)
Click on the 'Next blog' button below and we will see you again in a fortnight for Sketch 3!!

I hope you enjoyed my creation!

INKspired Artists Blog Hop 1

Welcome!!
If you have just landed here you have arrived at the
INKspired Artists blog hop!

What's a blog hop you ask???
It's a group of awesome INKspiring Artists that have created stunning cards using the same Sketch! This is so you yourself can grab INKspiration for your own card creation!

If you have just blog hopped from
Janelle Taylor's blog... Welcome!
I hope you enjoy my Sketch 1 creation :)

This is my first INKspired Artists blog hop and there will be plenty more over the coming weeks, with fortnightly sketches to inspire your creativity :)

This is Sketch 1

This is my Sketch 1 design!

I LOVE the new
Confetti Celebrations DSP,
it's so much fun, it works with all the 'in-colours'
you can't go wrong with any combination!

My inventory of flower stamps are limited but to create a fun flower I used the
'Blossom' and 'Fun Flower' punches instead...
No stamps required!
Grab your favourite DSP or card stock and
layer to create your own flower design!

Don't forget to add your embellishments!

Next up is my friend Lisa Eaton
Oh you are in for a treat!! Lisa is a true talent!

Just Add Ink #232 - Inspiration Challenge

Hi Again!
I'm back with another Just Add Ink Challenge Entry

The first day of school holidays and I crafted ALL DAY!!
And we all stayed in our pyjamas lol!

I made two cards for a blog hop which launches tomorrow! I am super excited!!

I then packed up everything and hopped onto FB and saw an envelope card
by a fellow crafter

...and I was inspired!

This one is made with 'Love'

I used retired DSP and ribbon but whenever I feel inspired
this DSP and ribbon always comes out
and I will be sad when the day comes when I run out of it :(

So here is my version of
The Envelope Card
It's very simple to make you just need the envelope punch board and you can create a card with
instant impact!
This is one of my favourites!

I stamped the Seasonally Scattered stamp with Versamark, Heat & Stick Powder and then the
Silver Glitter... it's so cute!!
I framed the 'Love' with the ruffle ribbon to finish it off and attached it to a gingham belly band
and VoilĂ !

The combinations are endless!!
Don't forget to embellish!!

Thanks for stopping by

Until next time!!
